Follow these simple steps and you will be able to trade in no time.

Step 1: Download the trading platform
Click ‘Download’ and download should begin automatically.

Step 2: Install the software
Follow all instruction on the Download Instructions page.
Installation is easy and fast. Simply follow instructions. For any problems, please do not hesitate to contact the technical support team.

Step 3: Open a Real or Practice Account
Once you have completed the installation, the software platform will launch automatically.
You can either choose to trade using real money by clicking the “Trade for Real” button or alternatively choose to practice your trading skills first by clicking the “Trade for Fun” button. Both the Real and Practice platform operate exactly the same and offer the same features. The only difference is whether trades are executed using real or virtual money.

You will now have to create your personal account. Once you have opened an Account you will receive your username and password.

Step 4: Deposit Funds (Real Trading Mode)
Enter your username and password in the “Login” screen.
Click on “Account Balance” at the main Lobby screen to proceed to the Cashier screen.
Select your preferred deposit method.

- To deposit via Credit Card: Click on “Credit Card,” then fill out the form.
- To deposit via Wire Transfer: First click on “Wire Transfer” and then enter the amount you wish to deposit, click on “Continue”.

You will receive your Wire Transfer details (including your transaction reference number). Please print this information out.
Proceed to any bank and forward your Wire Transfer details to trading platform's bank. Be sure to include the transaction reference number on the Wire Transfer form in the Payment Details field.

Step 5: Open a Position Once you are logged in you can begin to trade. At the center of the lobby you will see four big icons. Each icon represents a trading arena—Forex Marathon, Dollar Trend, Globe Trader, Forex Match. Choose your preferred mode of trading by clicking on an icon.

Step 6: Trade Once you have clicked on an icon and have been brought into an arena you will need to choose a currency with which to trade. Only in the ‘Dollar Trend’ arena you will not be given this option as all trading there is done in U.S. Dollars. You will also need to choose the amount with which you would like to trade. Once you have done this, your trading has begun. At any time you can close your trade simply by clicking “Close Trade.”

* NOTE: If you wish to trade with demo money first, before you trade with real money, you may do so. In Step 3, instead of opening a Real Trading Account simply select to “Trade for Fun”. Once you have completed the installation, eToro will open automatically. You must then click on “Trade for Fun”

Once you are logged in you will see at the center of the lobby four big icons, representing four variations of our trading interface. Clicking an icon will take you to the trading arena.

Forex Marathon

Once you've clicked on the Forex Marathon icon you'll enter the marathon arena. First, choose which currency you wish to buy: US Dollar, Euro or British Pound (Buying a currency means you expect this currency to strengthen against the other currency).

After you've chosen your currency, you'll see the currencies you can compete against. Choose from these options. Then, you'll select from the right side the amount you wish to place. Once you've selected an amount, on the bottom right of the screen you'll see an "open trade" button appear. Click it and a new window will load, telling you how many currency pair units you are buying for the amount you placed and at what exchange rate (For example, if you chose USD against EUR, the window will tell you how many USD/EUR are bought in this position and at what exchange rate). That's it! All that's left for you is to sit back and watch your money move...

Remember, you may close your trade anytime you wish. To close a trade, simply click on the "Close Trade" button in the trade arena. In the bottom center of the same page there is a box that will tell you the exact amount of your profit or loss. Remember, the trades you open will remain open until you decide to close them or until the end of the working week when the market closes and they will be closed automatically. You can also open additional trades simultaneously. To do so simply click the lobby button, and chose your next trade.

Dollar Trend

This feature lets you choose if you expect the US Dollar to rise or fall against the other currencies. Select rise if you think the US Dollar will increase in value against other currencies or select fall if you believe the US Dollar will decrease in value against other currencies. Select amount and place the trade.

The lower part of the screen shows you the details of the trade. Click on Close Trade when you wish to close the trade, or click on Lobby to return to the lobby.

Globe Trader

In this application setting, you select, using the menu at the bottom of the screen, your currency pairs and trade settings. Once you've selected the amount of money to trade with, a small window will appear, confirming your trade settings, amount and the rate for this currency pair. Click "Open Trade" to confirm and open your trade.

Forex Match

With this application you can view your trading activity as one currency pulls against another backed by a simple chart representing your trade fluctuation. Pick your currency pair to the left hand side of the screen followed by selecting your desired trade amount. Furthermore, this application enables you to select a Risk/Reward Level (leverage) and to specify your trade limits (Stop Loss and Take Profit).

Trading Log

Here you'll find details of all your activities: The "Active Trades" tab shows….the currently active trades. You can close a trade directly from this screen.

The "History" tab shows ... The history of all your closed trades, sorted by their open time.

Championship

When you logon a smaller window will appear to the left of the main platform window. This is the championship section in the community window. We hold periodic championship challenges and the best thing is, you're automatically registered when you logon. Top traders are constantly ranked in the Top 10 list which updates in real time. Performance is measured based on successful trading activity (profits).

Chat

Click on the "Chat" tab on top of the community module. You are now in the chat section, where you can communicate with friends and fellow traders from around the world. Using the text box, you can chat with someone privately or publicly. Chat anytime you want and compare notes, advice or even just the weather!
